Registering this domain was a mistake on my part, as 'developers' from other parts of the world named 'Mike' and 'Sarah' call me constantly trying to drum up business, even though GoDaddy swears they NEVER give out phone numbers (and I've got a tall piece of scrap metal for sale in Paris). But mostly because when I sit down to write, I realize that I am not well-enough informed to blab about it on the internet. There is however one thing about which I am one hundred percent certain, and that is we need all public offices to be limited to two terms. There is a petition at Sign the petition on change.org and I hope you'll go sign it. The article meant to convince, created by their AI bot, is a bit long and drawn out. The long and short of it is that the vast majority of our elected officials do not give a shit about us; or at the very least, we come second to their getting re-elected. Anyone with eyes can see that career politicians are the worst thing for the nation; voting with and for people, and agreeing to bullshit, out of fear of not being supported in the next election if they don't. I don't know about you, but I would like my lawmakers to have bigger balls than that. Give them two terms and then go back to earning an honest living. From School Board to Mayor to Governor. Thankfully the Presidency is already limited, and not even this biased, corrupt SCOTUS will overturn that. THEM TOO! Eight years on the Supreme Court is enough. Get those old people who long ago forgot about the law and justice and succumbed to politics, the hell outta there! |
